There are all kinds of people in the world and they subscribe to all different sorts of ideas, creeds, and conceptions about happiness. There are people who believe they’re deprived of the right to a happy life and will always live their lives playing the role of a victim or a persecutor. This is why the bullied continue to be bullied, and the bullies continue to bully. This is why humanity will always be in conflict. The pursuit of happiness begins with the realization that you, alone, are suitable and worthy of experiencing happiness. Not one person, living or dead, can take or give you the happiness and peace you look for. You alone are enough.
